Minimise Sorting In the standard version, the maximum size of an item to be folded is 1,200 mm in width and 1,800 mm in length, while the hourly throughput rate can reach up to 1,200 items depending on the item length. The task of presorting items is now a thing of the past, significantly simplifying workflow. Key Features The VarioFold TR 45 is equipped with an electro-pneumatic PLC controller with a dialogue display and a colour touchscreen for easy programme selection. It includes an item counter and elapsed time indicator, making operation efficient and user-friendly. Folding and sorting tasks are supported by two lengthwise folds, two cross-folds, and three stacking belts. The vacuum-assisted folding surface ensures precise folding, while folding formats are freely programmable with automatic selection of folding formats and stacking locations. Automatic length measurement and item recognition enhance accuracy and ensure garments are processed correctly. Items exceeding the maximum length are ejected automatically, while the completed stacks are removed based on quantity or height. A programmable stop for quality control is available, ensuring consistently high standards. Work Flexibly The individual folding formats can be configured via the touchscreen operating terminal or PLC controller. All parameters specific to laundered items are stored in the programme, and automatic length detection ensures precise folding at every station.
