An item counter for trousers and lab coats, along with an elapsed time indicator, provides valuable tracking information. Transport system drives are powered by frequency-controlled motors for precise operation. Vacuum assistance holds items securely on the folding surface during processing. Folding operations include separate stations for lengthwise and cross-folding, with automatic length measurement and lengthwise folds performed using folding flaps and pre-set folding patterns. The first or second cross-fold can be configured as a reverse fold for added versatility. Automatic item recognition distinguishes between lab coats and trousers, with a dedicated trousers programme for waistband-up or waistband-down configurations. Completed stacks are removed automatically based on either quantity or height, ensuring seamless workflow and reduced manual handling.
